Rare example of Lecerc's work.
Signed by artist Jean Leclerc, Vallauris AM.
Terra cotta vase with enamel design.
Worked is Vallauris France in the late 19th and
early 20th century.
Works by the artist were realized at the Massier family's kiln.
Examples of his work are
exposed in the MUSEE
DE LA
CERAMIQUE VALLAURIS.

page 85.

Condition:
First kiln firing production fault, hair line
crack a little over an inch in length on one of the 3 panels of the
design.
One of the blue enamel dotes is painted over the
crack; Artist continued his design disregarding the kiln
firing line.
